
Swamp Alien Species: ZBrush Sculpt
Wanting to get more practice with ZBrush, I fleshed out a character design I had sketched a while back: a crustacean- and cephalopod-inspired alien species.
Sculpted and retopologized in ZBrush, textured in Substance 3D Painter, rigged and rendered in Blender. I painted the environment in Photoshop.





Textures: AO, Albedo, Normal, Roughness

Retopology done with ZRemesher; it got a little funky in some areas, but worked okay for this non-game asset in need of texturing.
